Overview

A Nile River cruise is undeniably one of the best ways to see the ruins of ancient Egypt as well as modern life along the banks of the Nile. This cruise travels between Aswan and Luxor for four days and takes you into the heart of Egypt with daily excursions to major landmarks. Select an upgrade for a private option that means personalized attention from your own guide.

Highlights

  • Nile Cruises Trip Luxor & Aswan

Itinerary

  • Your four-day Nile River cruise begins with pickup from the Aswan train station or airport, or any hotel. Travel by air-conditioned vehicle with a trained Egyptologist to the Temple of Philae (only reachable by boat), the High Dam, and the Unfinished Obelisk. Either travel with a group or upgrade for a private guide. Spend the evening digging into a buffet dinner and settling into your private cabin on the boat.
If you’ve opted for an excursion to the Abu Simbel Temple Complex (additional expense), you’ll depart bright and early, arriving back in Aswan in time to set sail for Kom Ombo. Visit the millennia-old temple during another ground excursion before enjoying the ship’s five-star facilities for a second evening.

Arrive in Luxor on your third day, stopping in Edfu Temple along the way. Visit the Temple of Karnak and Luxor Temple with your guide. Meals and bottled water are included, letting you relax and focus on the sights.

Start your final day with an optional hot-air balloon ride over Luxor (additional expense). Then, complete your journey with Egyptologist-guided tours of the Valley of Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, and Colossi of Memnon.

Amazing experience

Food was great, different every night. The staff are friendly and always helpful. Rooms were well equipped and comfortable. Our Hyatt T. provided tour guide, Nagi, went above and beyond for us on countless occasions. We've been in Egypt for a month and our most memorable day was on the Nile with him! Thank you :)
